Naval Museum opened in Sevastopol

The Naval Museum was opened in the restored famous fortress of Sevastopol early nineteenth century. In 30 halls with a total area of more than two thousand square meters. m shows the history of Sevastopol from its inception to the present day.
It also reflects the history of military milestones Sebastopol: during the First World War, the history of Sevastopol garrison, military artillery, during the Revolution, the era of the Civil War, years the Soviet government.
The exhibition presents a unique document of the second defense of Sevastopol, a real weapon, naval uniforms.
The founders of the museum set out to preserve the reliability of structures and materials, architectural features to preserve, restore the specific space of the battery. The smallest details of design the museum staff was checking with photographs and engravings of the XIX century.
